Other grades: 301,201,316L304 Stainless Steel Coils is not easy to rust because a passivation film whose main component is Cr2O3 is formed on the surface, which prevents corrosion in different environments. When the chromium content in the film increases, the self-passivation ability of stainless steel increases. In aqueous electrolysis, the passivation film slows down the rate of corrosion, and the passivation film can be reproduced. In an inland environment, the passivation film can prevent O2 from penetrating further into the material. The passivation film is thin and dense, with high corrosion resistance.
